Introduction

Yayasan Aspirasi Wanita (YAW) is a non-profit organisation committed to empowering women and supporting families through structured assistance and continuous preparedness.

With the aspiration “Ready to Help”, YAW reflects its unwavering commitment to assist any woman or family in need—particularly those affected by poverty, marital conflict, domestic abuse, injustice, loss, or bereavement.

We believe that every woman and family deserves access to support, dignity, and the opportunity to rise above hardship and rebuild their future.

VISION

To be a leading institution that is always ready to assist women and families in distress while building resilient communities through comprehensive support systems.

MISSION

  • To provide emergency relief and structured support to women and families in crisis.

  • To protect and assist those affected by domestic violence, abuse, or social injustice.

  • To offer emotional, psychosocial, and community-based support to those experiencing grief, loss, or the death of a loved one.

  • To deliver economic empowerment, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship programmes for vulnerable women.

  • To build a nationwide network of preparedness communities and trained volunteers.

Family Crisis Intervention



Immediate support for domestic violence, divorce, family conflict, and bereavement.

Economic Preparedness


Training and economic assistance programmes for affected women, especially single mothers.

Psychosocial Support & Counselling


Trauma care, emotional healing, and ongoing counselling services.

Advocacy & Protection for Women and Children


Advocacy for women’s rights, legal support, and partnerships with protection agencies.

Public Awareness & Communication


Awareness campaigns, community talks, seminars, and public service announcements to educate and engage society on family and women’s issues.
